Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and the password you create. You can optionally add a display name, username, profile photo, and bio.
Recipe Data: Recipes you save, including ingredients, instructions, photos, and any notes you add. This data is stored securely and associated with your account.
Social Features: If you use social features, we store your posts, comments, likes, friend connections, and star ratings.
Sue Chef (AI cooking assistant): When you chat with Sue Chef, we store your messages and Sue's replies with your account so you can see your recent chats. Chats are deleted automatically 12 hours after the last message, and you can delete one sooner from your chat history. If you rate a reply with a thumbs up or down, we keep a copy of that question and reply, the recipe name if one was attached, and any reason you give, to improve Sue Chef. Ratings are reviewed without your name attached.
Usage Data: We track how many recipe extractions you use per month and how many Sue Chef questions you ask per day (for tier limits). We do not track which specific recipes or websites.

Free-tier users see advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads may use device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
Premium and Pro users do not see any advertisements.
Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Sue Chef chats are the exception: they're deleted 12 hours after the last message. Sue Chef ratings are kept until you delete your account. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal purposes.

We're Cooked is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
